Since the founding of LIFEBRANDS, we have seen sustainability as a fundamental commitment to people, the environment, and future generations. As a producer and distributor of coffee, tea, and cocoa, we are aware of the social, ecological, and economic impacts of our actions. Our goal is to develop long-term sustainable solutions that benefit both our partners in the countries of origin and our customers.

What does "Responsible Enjoyment" actually mean to us?

At Lifebrands, the concept of responsible enjoyment holds a special place in our hearts. For us, it stands for the harmonious connection of health and sustainability. This commitment ranges from sourcing organic and fair-trade ingredients to promoting healthy enjoyment and supporting partner organizations committed to environmental and species protection.

ClimatePartner

In cooperation with ClimatePartner, we calculate and offset all our CO₂ emissions – both at the corporate level and for selected product lines. Through climate protection projects, we contribute to sustainable development in countries of the global South and reduce their dependence on fossil fuels. From 2024, we are officially ClimatePartner certified and set scientifically based CO₂ reduction targets that we consistently implement. We place great importance on transparent communication – also to the benefit of our customers and their brand values.

WeForest

Together with WeForest, we are committed to combating the climate crisis by protecting, caring for, and reforesting the forests of our planet. Our goal is to sustainably, fairly, and transparently restore degraded forest areas in close cooperation with local communities and protect them in the long term. Every year, we plant and care for 2,000 trees, thereby making a direct contribution to preserving biodiversity and fighting climate change.

With plasticbank, we work to minimize the use of plastic in our production while taking a step further: Together, we collect 25 tons of plastic from the environment annually before it reaches the oceans. In this way, we actively help reduce ocean pollution and keep resources in circulation. Our commitment ensures that waste is transformed back into value – for the environment and for the communities involved.

UNITED NATIONS Sustainability Goals

As a sustainably operating company, we support the 17 Sustainability Development Goals of the United Nations. Through consistent, close collaboration with our partners at the source, cooperation with NGOs, and our conscious choice of certified raw materials and packaging materials, we contribute a small step each day – step by step – to the protection of our planet and its inhabitants. We work to ensure that future generations can also follow our credo "Responsible Enjoyment."
